Mariel grew up in Argentina and has an Accounting degree from Moron University in Buenos Aires.  She moved to Hawaii in 2008, where she married and started a family. Raising her son bi-lingually in Spanish has fueled her desire to teach other families how to introduce a second language to their children.  Later, she got her certification as Spanish teacher for children from King Juan Carlos University in Madrid. She also has an Early Care and Education Certificate.
